The Starfinder Society isn’t the only group interested in the Wreck. In addition to countless freelancers and independent salvagers, three prominent factions have arisen and are clashing at every turn: the Aspis Consortium, a coalition of local Akitonian salvagers, and a government sanctioned delegation from the planet Aballon. With an eye to improving relations, Sarmak has invited representatives from each of these factions to meet on neutral ground to come to terms.

When danger threatens to disrupt the Sloughscar Summit, it’s up to the Starfinder Society to keep the peace.

SFS: #1-02 "Mystery of the Frozen Moon"

A repeatable Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st- through 2nd-level characters, playable in 2-3 hours.

Every year, the Starfinder Society learns of thousands of newly discovered planets, planetoids, moons, and other stellar bodies, many of which sustain life. Each location is closely catalogued, with the most promising marked for future study. The frigid moon of Luvoth is one such location.

Known to the Starfinders only as Vast-723-Arctic-Moon, or VAM-723 for short, Luvoth is one of four small moons in orbit around an unexplored gas giant in the Vast. Initial scans of the moon indicate there’s no sapient inhabitants, but there are some artificial structures—an intriguing mystery! Believing VAM-723 could be the perfect jumping off point to explore the local stellar bodies and surrounding system, the Starfinder Society dispatches a team of agents to perform initial surveys of the moon and investigate the structures.

A repeatable Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 3rd- through 4th-level characters, playable in 2-3 hours.

The Starfinder Society has suffered in their quest to explore the mysterious Wreck of the Returned—they’ve lost good agents to the Wreck’s defenses and clashed with a rising foe called the Functionary, who claims to serve a being at the heart of the Wreck itself and is to blame for numerous local abductions. Now, raiders have begun attacking the Society’s vehicle convoys, disrupting their supply chain and stealing valuable discoveries. But the Starfinders aren’t the only victim of these raiders—three other groups endure these attacks, all of whom are bent on exploring the Wreck of the Returned. Determined to put an end to these attacks, and suspecting the Functionary is to blame, First Seeker Sarmak dispatches a team of Starfinders to investigate the raiders and lure them into a trap. Gather your allies, enact your plan, and pray the raiders take the bait!

SFS: #1-03, "Disaster at Dreamlink Labs"

A repeatable Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st- through 2nd-level characters, playable in 2-3 hours.

When a nascent godling called the Newborn was birthed from the planet Aucturn in 324 AG, chunks of its planetary womb and embryonic fluids were cast across the Pact Worlds. Most of this debris—called aucturnite—collected at the outer rim of the system, in a region known as the Gelid Edge. This forlorn field of ice and technomagical debris is a realm of occult power, haunted starship wrecks, and unknown horrors. Yet, for all its dangers, the Gelid Edge is a frontier of new discoveries and forbidden knowledge, and many Newborn evangelists, anomaly hunters, and occult researchers have flocked to the region to learn its secrets.

When the Starfinder Society is contacted by scientists from Dreamlink Laboratories, who claim to have made an important discovery in the Gelid Edge, Venture-Captain Arvin dispatches a team of agents to investigate. Unfortunately, something has invaded Dreamlink Labs… and time is running short for the lab’s survivors.

SFS: #1-13, "Foul Humors"

A repeatable Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st- through 2nd-level characters, playable in 2-3 hours.

When a nascent godling called the Newborn was birthed from the planet Aucturn, chunks of its planetary womb and embryonic fluids were cast across the Pact Worlds, showering the nearby planets of Apostae and Bretheda, and careening through open space. Most of this debris—called aucturnite—collected in a haunted ice field at outer rim of the system called the Gelid Edge.

For all its dangers, the Gelid Edge is a frontier of new discoveries and forbidden knowledge, and many Newborn evangelists, anomaly hunters, and occult researchers have flocked to the region to learn its secrets. Among them is Dreamlink Laboratories, a research facility that used aucturnite to create a dreamscape purportedly born from the thoughts of the Newborn. Using this dreamscape, Dreamlink Labs has pinpointed the location of a site they believe is important to the Newborn, though they lack the experience to perform an on-site exploration alone. It’s up to the Starfinder Society to escort an enthusiastic scientist from Dreamlink Labs to investigate this “holy” site!

A repeatable Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 3rd- through 4th-level characters, playable in 2-3 hours.

Dangerous raiders called the Beasts of Bo have proven to be a thorn in the side of the Starfinder Society. Armed to the teeth with tech salvaged from the Wreck of the Returned and audacious in their convoy attacks, the Beasts of Bo are a formidable foe, yet the group may still have its uses, for the leader of the Beasts of Bo is Bo-Shek, an ex-member of the now-defunct Rust Wraiths mercenary company and one of the only people to explore the Wreck of the Returned before its automated defenses activated. Armed with intel on Bo-Shek, First Seeker Sarmak dispatches a team of Starfinders to confront the Beasts of Bo at their base in the Sloughscar Hills, and convince them it's better to count the Starfinders among your allies than your enemies. Do you have the courage to stand against the Beasts of Bo?

This is an adventure in the ongoing Invasion’s Edge metaplot, and is part one of a two-part scenario series. This adventure’s direct sequel is Starfinder Society Scenario #1-16: The Beasts of Bo: Part Two.

SFS: #1-07, "Seize and Destroy"

A repeatable Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st- through 2nd-level characters, playable in 2-3 hours.

From their newly founded lodge in the Sloughscar Hills, the Starfinder Society studies the Wreck of the Returned, a massive crashed starship the Starfinders believe was dispatched by the long-lost First Ones. Recent excavations into other First Ones sites uncovered powerful weapons, dangerous technology, and volatile magic—incredibly valuable discoveries capable of causing immense harm should they fall into irresponsible hands. While the Starfinder Society would love to enter the Wreck of the Returned directly, the Wreck’s automated defenses and networked robotic servitors make such an expedition incredibly dangerous. Fortunately, the Starfinders have discovered a nearby site of interest: a sizable piece of wreckage which detached during the crash and landed off-site. Eager for answers, the Starfinders dispatch a team to the crash site to investigate.

Unfortunately, Hellknights from the Order of the Eclipse are already inside the wreckage, and their mandate to control, suppress, or destroy dangerous information and technology means they have no intention of sharing anything they uncover. It’s up to the Starfinders to explore the wreckage and gather information, before the Hellknights systematically seize, censor, and destroy everything in their path.
